It's based on the headcanon that Marceline's mom died during the mushroom war.. :U
So after watching the Adventure Time episode "I Remember You", (and crying many tears), I just had to draw something. ;n; It took forever, but I had fun with it. (And wow I actually like how this came out for once lol.)

Wait whhuuut?! I'm so confused! Marcy is a vampire and her dad is originally the vampire king guy xD so Simon is like a guardian? I need to watch the show more! :icontableflipplz:

her dad is a full demon, her mom was most likely a human because marceline is only a half demon but she was also bitten by a vampire when she was around 18 i presume.

Oh my grosh. What if Betty was Marcy's mom? Weird, kind of implausible, but what if that was why Simon took care of her? Eh, I like the idea of him finding her hiding behind a shed.
